📕 BOOK 20 - Meddling Kids by Edgar Cantero
📖 What if the Famous Five took place in Lovecraft country? Add a dash of the Scooby Gang and an unhealthy amount of trauma and you get Edgar Cantero’s Meddling Kids.
💭 Now we're talking. The premise alone had me hooked, but it's Cantero's quirky, experimental writing style that really won me over. I can see why some readers found it divisive, but it was exactly my kind of weird. Funny, creepy, nostalgic and surprisingly heartfelt.
